hey, i'm fred. this is a personal website, which exists so people think i'm smart and tasteful.

feel free to have a gander.

here's a bit of background. startups have always been where i wanted to end up. i'm dyslexic and have adhd, and my mum put richard branson in front of me early, and from then on i knew this was the path. i sat in the bottom maths class almost all the way to year 12, then decided to do comp sci and finance anyway. since then i've built a student platform where hundreds of students and startups collaborated on short-term, project-based work (before vibe coding made that easy), and these days i do gtm engineering for recruitment agencies as a side hustle.

my intro to startups proper was adora. seven months on their gtm team was a life-changing experience. it dropped me into the world i'd always dreamt about and showed me how actual operators behave. without it, all of this would still be a fantastical mystery.

now i want to build, and get really fucking good at scaling and distributing products. that means the ops behind selling, doing the selling myself, building products that create their own demand, and talking to customers. i want to learn how to create a magnetic pull towards a product.

i also want to get to sf and start learning at the mecca as soon as possible. then i'll actually take a shot. LinkedIn ->
